In todays video I review my latest acquisition and discuss a brief history of Tudor's iconic chronographs. The Tudor Tiger Prince Date Automatic (ref. 79280) was made to honour Tudor's sponsorship of the legendary golfer Tiger Woods. However the roots of the watch are firmly in motor racing, much like it's more famous cousin from Rolex. Despite it's similarities to the Paul Newman Daytona, (especially the ref. 6239/6262) it is full of it's own combination of unique features, character and class. This makes it undoubtedly the best affordable alternative to the massively sort after and extremely expensive iconic Daytona.
