Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Gstaad Classic Chronograph 26558TI Luxury Watch Review The Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Gstaad Classic Chronograph is the watch to wear behind the wheel of a 1960s Ferrari. Actually, as the official sponsor of the Gstaad Classic 1930s-1970s Classic Car Ralley, Audemars Piguet lets you choose your fantasy car. Just remember which watch to wear for the ride. This Jules Audemars Gstaad Classic Chronograph is a special edition originally issued in 2011 to celebrate the inaugural year of Audemars Piguet's sponsorship of the Gstaad Car Club's annual event. The watch exists as one of a limited series of 250 designed as a tribute to the event and the vintage sports cars it honors. A detail-rich dial of rose gold Arabic numerals is enveloped by a case of delicate brushed titanium. The wrist feel of the hand-stitched leather strap is supple and refined. Each element of the design is intended to evoke a vintage sports car; stitching recalls leather-wrapped steering wheels, the minute track mimics a vintage dashboard instrument; the tachymeter scale recalls the instruments used to time classic rallies such as the Mille Miglia and Carrera Panamericana. On the caseback, a Gstaad Classic commemorative logo, individual sequence number, and sapphire display window complete the package. The Audemars Piguet in-house 3124 movement is beautifully decorated in the finest standards of the Vallee de Joux's foremost finisher of fine timepieces. Its presentation wants for nothing. If you're an AP junkie suffering Royal Oak burnout, this is the antidote. Now available from with all Audemars Piguet factory accessories, this Jules Audemars Gstaad Classic Chronograph offers all of the AP savoir-faire in a package that ranks among the rarest from an already exclusive maison.
