About Sky-Dweller
The Rolex Sky-Dweller is one of the most complicated watches in the current Rolex line-up, and it is objectively one of their most interesting as well. These watches feature a second time zone, date at 3 o’clock, and most impressively, an annual calendar complication. An annual calendar accounts for the irregularity in months when changing the date. For example, the Sky-Dweller will jump right from April 30th to May 1st , unlike every other watch with a regular date complication that would instead flip to the 31st . The overall appearance of the Sky-Dweller is reminiscent of the Datejust and Day-Date models thanks to the fluted bezel, however, the fluted bezel on the SkyDweller has an added function. The Rolex Sky-Dweller’s bezel rotates and is attached to gears that work in conjunction with the crown in order to accurately set all of the watch’s complications.
