Girard-Perregaux WW.TC Financial Chronograph Luxury Watch Review

The Girard-Perregaux WW.TC Financial is a luxury watch for financial pros and small traders alike. GP takes its celebrated WW.TC Chronograph series and enhances the world time display with overlapping indications of the trading hours in the world's four major financial centers: New York, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and London. Using the world time chapter ring, the owner of a WW.TC Financial can reference the time in all 24 major time zones and keep track of the window for traders in one zone to execute transactions with professionals in another. The Girard-Perregaux haute horlogerie pedigree is present in force. Not only does this complicated chronograph integrate a world time function, but it does so while accommodating a chronograph, jump-date, automatic winding system, and AM/PM indication. Girard-Perregaux is a true manufacture that designs and fabricates almost every portion of its watches. While this may sound elementary to casual observers of the luxury watch sector, it is also extremely rare; most Swiss watchmakers outsource heavily. A GP033C0 automatic movement can be viewed through the sapphire case back, and it offers the owner a clinic in fine finish. Beveled bridges, grained levers, perlaged plates, and polished screws speak to the level of attention and traditional hand-labor lavished on this piece. The 43mm case is traditional in form but contemporary in its proportions. Versatile stainless steel is rugged in casual settings and sufficiently sober for polite company. Like all major elements of the WW.TC Financial, the case is of GP's own design and manufacture. This Girard-Perregaux WW.TC Financial Chronograph is available with a complete set of factory boxes, papers, manuals, and accessories from the pre-owned luxury watch specialists at thewatchbox.com Video and content by Tim Mosso.
