About Royal Oak Offshore

Released in 1993 on the anniversary of the Royal Oak, the Royal Oak Offshore, aka “The Beast,” paved the way for larger sports watches. Known for its massive case, integrated band, porthole-shaped bezel, and mega-tapisserie dial, this luxury watch remained true to its roots, while becoming something entirely new. The Offshore has a much sportier look than the original Royal Oak with higher water resistance, a thicker case, high-tech materials, and a typical rubber strap. It’s available in a wide range of variants, with diamond-studded references and ceramic diving watches.

Audemars Piguet released the Royal Oak Offshore Diver in 2010 as reference 15703ST. In 2021, the Offshore Diver collection got some new upgrades and features. These models feature the all-new in-house automatic calibre 4308 movement, quick-change straps and buckles, and new colors like navy blue, trailblazing khaki, and pristine grey.

In 2021, Audemars Piguet unveiled a new update to the Royal Oak Offshore collection with 11 new 43mm and 42 mm models. 1993’s original Royal Oak Offshore was reworked with this release, with three new references in stainless steel. Audemars Piguet also included a new 18k white gold limited edition Royal Oak Offshore Diver with black ceramic bezel and crowns.
