Nothing on Earth could come between them...
Well it's a good slogan anyway.
In 1997, Titanic was the biggest movie in the country, and went on to win Best Picture. Ben Gleib thought it was really cheesy, and had a deep need to make fun of it. So while a sophomore at UC San Diego, he made a 14 minute parody of what was at the time James Cameron's masterpiece.
TITANIC 2 takes place right after the movie TITANIC ends, after the great "unsinkable ship" has sunk, and *spoiler alert* we see Rose, now alone, and one of the few survivors, walking along the beach, when she encounters a big surprise. Jack is alive! They go to complain to their travel agent, and somehow he convinces them to go on another cruise. A ship named "Titanic 2."
See it in its original "stunning" 2D.
Shot in a futuristic format known as Super VHS.
