SIHH 2018: Hermes Watches: Carre H and Arceau Chronograph

Please Subscribe: Hermes had a quiet SIHH 2018 by the standard of its recent model years. For men, the highlights were the return of the Hermes Carre H and the new 41mm Arceau Chronograph. The Hermes Carre H is a revial of a 2010 limited edition model designed by architect and interior designer Marc Berthier. Hermes’ reborn Carre H has been enlarged to measure 38mm x 38mm in stainless steel. The bezel is polished in order to contrast with the media-blasted case profile and back. Each Carre H features Hermes’ exclusive caliber H1912 automatic movement with 50-hour power reserve and stop-seconds (hacking) capability. Two dials, black and grey, will be offered, and both models feature Hermes’ signature Barenia calf leather straps. The Hermes Arceau chronograph arrives at SIHH 2018 downsized to a more versatile 41mm from its former 43mm. The watch is part of an Hermes Arceau model family that dates back to 1978. Hermes’ new chronograph features the Arceau line’s distinctive canted Arabic numerals, a media-blasted titanium case, asymmetrical lugs top-to-bottom, and an embossed Hermes calf leather strap with steel deployant strap. The automatic Swiss chronograph caliber features a date with quick-set mechanism, stop-seconds, and hour-minute-second displays. Instagram: BUY WATCHES HERE:
