The new entry level models, represented by the new Luminor Logo, will be offered for the first time exclusively with the Panerai in-house caliber P.6000. The P.6000 is a manual-wind three-day (3-Day) power reserve movement created in Panerai’s Neuchatel manufacture. The vessel for the new movement is a collection of six watches divided between the two-hand “Luminor Base” and “Luminor Marina” with small seconds. All six Panerai Luminor Logo models feature polished 44mm stainless steel cases, 100-meter water resistance, and vintage Panerai “OP” logos on both dial and caseback. Two of the new models will mark the debut of colored textile straps as a regular offering in the Officine Panerai model line. Panerai’s balanced 2018 watch collection includes flagship models to complement the Luminor Logo collection. At the apex is the new Panerai Luminor 1950 Moon Phases Equation of Time GMT Titanio PAM 920; Panerai calls it “L’Astronomo.” The first Panerai watch with a moonphase complication, the PAM 920 will burst at the seams with functions despite its 50mm titanium case. This novelty boasts an equation of time, time of sunset and sunrise, power reserve indicator for its 4-day power reserve, a tourbillon, a second time zone, and an orbital moonphase display on the reverse of the case. Panerai boasts of its multiple patents on the new Luminor 1950 Moon Phases, and the polarized date wheel is a headliner. Panerai has created a polarized sapphire date disc that will not obscure the openworked dial of the new Panerai Luminor 1950 Moon Phases Equation of Time GMT Titanio PAM 920. Only when the sapphire date disc moves over its matching polarized patch of display surface will the date be visible. Additional value will come from the customization options that Panerai will offer on the PAM 920. Buyers will pay over $200,000 U.S. and wait for 12 months to take delivery of Panerai’s new grand complication, but custom case finish surfacing, dial super luminova color, hand color, and dial color will be offered to buyers of the new Panerai Luminor 1950 flagship Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/watchbox BUY WATCHES HERE: https://www.thewatchbox.com
