The Best NEW $1200 Dive Watch? A Future Classic: Squale 30ATMOS Review

If you are seriously into diving watches, then you will undoubtedly know and respect the illustrious Swiss diver watch brand Squale. In today’s video I share a world exclusive review of a limited edition 30 ATMOS no-date version to commemorate the brand’s 60th anniversary. But this is no ordinary limited edition! Once again, I had the honor and privilege of advising Squale with regards to its design which is based on cases they made for the legendary BlancPain Acualung Bathyscape of the late 1950s and early 60s. However, unlike these now extremely rare and expensive watches, this 2019 update has the robustness, 39mm size, and features of a modern diver and is priced extremely competitively at the entry level. Could this be my new favorite watch of all time? Could it's vintage dressy nostalgic style win me over? How does it compare to the watches Squale contributed to making for BlancPain during the golden era of dive watches like the fifty fathoms? Could this perhaps be their best watch yet, or even the best diver at around $1200? Join me as we dive deep into this most important and historic brand that is so close to my heart. The poem featured in this video is "If" by Rudyard Kipling.
