Rolex Cellini & Omega Seamaster Diver 300M; IWC Pallweber, Luxury Watches To Buy

Contact tmosso@thewatchbox.com for pricing and availability; Either I have it, or I can get it! Weekend Watches with Tim Mosso is the ultimate YouTube luxury watch experience. Before Tim takes a three-week absence to visit Singapore and Dubai, Rolex, Omega watches, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger LeCoultre, and many other premier luxury watch brands are ready to take the stage. On “Weekend Watches,” Rolex rarely takes a day off, but Tim strives to feature Rolex watches that defy conventions and showcase the range of the world’s most famous luxury watch brand. This episode includes the discontinued Milgauss white dial and a rare Rolex Cellini Danaos white gold and rose gold manual wind dress watch. Finally, a 1993 Rolex Day-Date on a strap demonstrates the appeal of the classic Rolex power watch when equipped with a white lacquer dial, alligator leather strap, and an uncommon domed yellow gold bezel. Two 2018 Omega watches impress in the form of the black ceramic Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Dark Side of The Moon Apollo 8 and the 42mm Omega Seamaster Diver 300M. The Speedmaster combines a visually modified Moonwatch caliber 1869 with the 44.25mm Dark Side of The Moon ceramic case. Omega’s 25th anniversary Seamaster Professional Diver 300M is an update of the Bienne watchmaker’s longest-running dive watch design. The original 1993 SMP 300M rose to fame alongside Pierce Brosnan during his turn as James Bond, and most of the 2018 version – helium escape valve, skeleton hands, “Omega wave” dial – remain on the new watch. Tim’s longtime love of Jaeger LeCoultre ensures that the Le Sentier watch brand features prominently on today’s show. The JLC Grande Reverso Ultra-Thin launched in 2011 as a modern interpretation of the original 1931 LeCoultre Reverso. As a modern watch, the Tribute to 1931 features impressive super luminova lume and a contemporary JLC caliber 822 manual wind movement. A classic JLC Memovox wrist alarm shines in the form of the 2002 Master Compressor Memovox dive watch; this example is part of a limited edition of 250 pieces from that year with a blue dial and a platinum case. Finally, the first ever platinum Reverso – 2001’s 500-piece limited edition “Platinum Reverso No. 1” – is included. The Platinum No. 1 includes a hand skeletonized and freehand engraved JLC caliber 849 RSQ movement. • Chronoswiss Delphis Jump Hour Retrograde CH1421R $6,450 • F.P.
