Greg, born in Boston but raised just north of New York City, brings a unique perspective to the diverse watch community. Having spent nearly a decade teaching High School English and History in Brooklyn and Boston, he transitioned to WatchBox two years ago when a member of the marketing team discovered his online blogs. Initially working behind the scenes in Operations, Project Management, and Marketing, Greg has now found his niche in Editorial and Customer Experience. Greg holds degrees in Journalism and History from the University of Rhode Island and obtained his masters at Fordham University. Despite his educational background, his fascination with horology has been a lifelong one. As a teacher, Greg incorporated his watch collection into teachable classroom moments, using them as tools to discuss history, innovation, engineering, culture, and philosophy. With two published books and numerous articles to his credit, Greg is eager to delve deeper into the realm of horological journalism and support our incredible clients. A burgeoning collector, avid traveler, and lifelong learner, his favorite timepiece is his Montblanc Heritage GMT Salmon Dial, a gift from his wife during their engagement. He expresses, "The reason I love it, other than it being a gift from my wife, is that it reminds me of the romance behind watches. There is more to a watch than a dial, some hands, and a case. A watch is an object tied to moments and memories that words can't define. To truly own a watch is to own a piece of your own history."
